About us

Intersection Hub is a Triangular initiative in Sunderland — a safe, inclusive and welcoming space for the local community, from all walks of life.
The Hub offers more than support. It's a place to connect, grow and belong. Alongside our food bank and our information, advice and guidance service, we host ongoing community projects that empower families and individuals.
We know how important it is to feel at home. That's why we offer a warm space where people can meet, rest and find comfort, especially during difficult times. The Hub is also a lively setting for family-friendly events, cultural celebrations and social activities that bring people together.
Led by Triangular
Triangular works alongside community groups to help them establish, develop and sustain their own organisations. That means practical support with governance and leadership, with fundraising and financial sustainability, and with finding and managing community space — including free space at the Hub for groups who need somewhere to operate.
We meet groups where they are, recognising the strengths they already have and adding guidance where it's genuinely needed. The aim throughout is independence: groups building their own capacity, taking ownership of their governance and funding, and shaping their own future.
A shared space
Intersection Hub is where that work happens. Community groups across our network run their own projects here, in their own way, supported by Triangular. Whether you're looking for support, want to join a project, or simply need a friendly face — our doors are open to you.
